Location: Multiple sites across West Wicklow, Kildare, Laois, Westmeath and Co Dublin.

Position Type: Part Time (between 3 & 4 days per week)

Are you a qualified pharmacist with ambition of growing into a leadership or stakeholding role? McGreals Group are currently recruiting a Relief Pharmacist to join our team and work across our various community pharmacies. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and to build up your knowledge & skills which will be required for a Stakeholding Pharmacist role in the future.

Role Responsibilities

  • Dispensing medications and advising patients professionally and empathetically.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the dispensary and store, including:
    • Stock control
    • Paperwork and administrative duties
    • Claim verification and submission
    • Store opening/closing duties
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical pharmacy regulations.
  • Leading the team to deliver exceptional customer service.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Fully qualified and registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
  • Minimum 1-year experience in community pharmacy (preferred)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Highly organised, capable of working efficiently under pressure
  • Empathetic and professional in dealing with patients
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to motivate a team
