Key responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician include:

· Prescription preparation – to dispense prescriptions in a caring and professional manner.

· Monitored dosing system – to dispense and prepare monitored dosing systems.

· Dispensary Ordering – to send and receive orders from wholesalers.

· Pharmacy Claim – to help prepare the monthly claim and send to the PCRS.


The ideal candidate:

· Fully qualified and have 3 year’s experience of working as a pharmacy technician.

· Excellent communication skills as you will communicate with numerous different people every day, from patients to doctors and also the pharmacy team.

· Professional manner and treat all customers with care, empathy and respect.

· Positive attitude, very well presented and excellent customer service skills.

· Be able to work as part of a team while also able to work on your own initiative.

Qualification: IPU diploma or equivalent.

Days per week: 4 days between Monday & Saturday. Required to work every 2nd Saturday.

€16.00-€19.00 per hour (based on experience)
