Pharmacy Technician – Baltinglass

McGreals Pharmacy are recruiting an experienced Pharmacy Technician. We are a community-based pharmacy and patient care is our top priority. This role is based in Baltinglass but travel to Blessington & Newbridge may be required from time to time.

Key responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician include:

· Prescription preparation – Dispense prescriptions in a caring and professional manner.

· Monitored dosing system – Dispense and prepare monitored dosing systems.

· Dispensary Ordering – Send and receive orders from wholesalers.

· Pharmacy Claim – Prepare the monthly claim for the PCRS.

The ideal candidate:

· Fully qualified and have 3 year’s experience of working as a pharmacy technician.

· Excellent communication skills as you will communicate with numerous different people every day, from patients to doctors and also the pharmacy team.

· Professional manner and treat all customers with care, empathy and respect.

· Positive attitude and very well presented.

· Be able to work as part of a team while also able to work on your own initiative.

Qualification: IPU diploma or equivalent.
