Pharmacy Technician

Due to expansion, McGreals Pharmacy Baltinglass are recruiting a Pharmacy Technician.  We are a community-based pharmacy and patient care is our top priority.

Key responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician include:

• Prescription preparation – accurately and efficiently prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Monitored dosing system – To dispense and prepare monitored dosing systems.
• Dispensary Ordering – monitoring and managing stock levels.
• Pharmacy Claim – To prepare & submit the monthly claim to PCRS.
• Working with the pharmacy team to provide excellent customer care to our patients.

The ideal candidate:

• 1-year experience of working as a pharmacy technician.
• Experience of using MPS system.
• Excellent communication skills as you will communicate with numerous different people every day, from patients to doctors and also the pharmacy team.
• Professional manner and treat all customers with care, empathy and respect.
• Positive attitude and very well presented.
• Be able to work as part of a team while also able to work on own initiative.

Qualification: IPU diploma or Higher Cert in Pharmacy Technician Studies.

Location: Baltinglass, Co Wicklow.

Days per week: 5 days a week (Between Monday and Saturday.  Required to work every 2^nd Saturday)

Pay: €33,000 to €35,000 (based on 4ohrs per week)
