Accounts Administrator / Bookkeeper
McGreals are recruiting an Accounts Administrator / Bookkeeper.
The Role:
As the Accounts Administrator / Bookkeeper, you will be dealing with a range of duties within the finance department. This is a full-time role (40hrs per week), Monday to Friday, based in McGreals Head Office, Primary Care, Blessington, Co Wicklow.
General Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable: processing invoices, creditors reconciliation and payment preparation.
- Accounts Receivable: raising and issuing invoices.
- Reconciliation and posting of bank, cash and credit card accounts.
- Manage the accounts email and ensure all are processed.
- Maintain and update records of financial transactions.
The ideal person:
- Experience of working within an accounts department is an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge of accounts payable, receivable and maintaining ledgers.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work with numbers in a competent and confident way.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
- Team player – contributes positively to the achievement of team objectives.
- This role is based within the accounts department but you will be liaising & working with cross functional teams & pharmacies.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and within tight deadlines.
- Computer literate (excel)
