Accounts Administrator / Bookkeeper

McGreals are recruiting an Accounts Administrator / Bookkeeper.

The Role:

As the Accounts Administrator /  Bookkeeper, you will be dealing with a range of duties within the finance department. This is a full-time role (40hrs per week), Monday to Friday, based in McGreals Head Office, Primary Care, Blessington, Co Wicklow.

General Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable: processing invoices, creditors reconciliation and payment preparation.
  • Accounts Receivable: raising and issuing invoices.
  • Reconciliation and posting of bank, cash and credit card accounts.
  • Manage the accounts email and ensure all are processed.
  • Maintain and update records of financial transactions.

The ideal person:

  • Experience of working within an accounts department is an advantage but not essential.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, receivable and maintaining ledgers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work with numbers in a competent and confident way.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
  • Team player – contributes positively to the achievement of team objectives.
  • This role is based within the accounts department but you will be liaising & working with cross functional teams & pharmacies.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and within tight deadlines.
  • Computer literate (excel)
