Trim Pharmacy, part of one of Ireland’s leading healthcare groups, McGreal’s pharmacies, has officially opened its doors on Market Street in Trim.
The pharmacy, which has undergone a significant renovation, marked its official opening with an afternoon of celebrations for its customers and the wider Trim community.
Former Meath Gaelic football player Christine O’Brien of Boardsmill joined pharmacist and co-owner Julie Ann Marley, and Kilian McGreal, Group CEO, McGreal’s Pharmacy Group, to cut the ribbon and welcome guests.
The healthcare team at the pharmacy also donated sports first aid packs to Trim GAA, Boardsmill G4M&O, Trim Town Academy and Trim Celtic soccer club.
“We are delighted to officially open our new look pharmacy in Trim. As a team, we are committed to providing our customers with best-in-class pharmacy care. Julie Ann has over 20-years’ experience and together with the wider healthcare team at the pharmacy, will play an integral role within the local community healthcare system. This is achieved by working alongside local GPs and other relevant healthcare professionals to not only support, but to advance customer care and wellbeing. I know I speak for Julie Ann and the whole team when I say we very much look forward to continuing to serve the pharmacy needs of our customers, both old and new in the months and years ahead,” Kilian McGreal said.
“I would like to extend a thank you to all our customers and the Trim community for their support over the last number of months and in the lead up to today’s official opening.
Personally, I am delighted to head up the healthcare team at the pharmacy as I know the town very well and have lots of friends and family living in Trim. It was wonderful to see so many familiar and indeed new faces at our opening. The team and I are fully committed to providing the best care and support for our customers now and into the future,” added Julie Ann Marley.
